CVE-2025-61812

Code execution via _storeCFSettingFile path traversal

Published Dec 9, 2025 · Updated Feb 26, 2026

Improper input validation in Adobe ColdFusion 2025.4, 2023.16, and 2021.22 and earlier allows attackers to execute arbitrary code. Network protections identify path traversal in _storeCFSettingFile, but Adobe has not disclosed the invalidated field or faulty validation operation. Exploitation requires high privileges and adjacent-network access but no user interaction, and successful execution gives control of the server process.
