Code execution via use-after-free during file parsing
Published Oct 14, 2025 · Updated Feb 26, 2026
Use-after-free in Adobe Substance 3D Stager 3.1.4 and earlier allows attackers to execute code when a victim opens a malicious file. Adobe has not disclosed the affected parser, object type, or lifetime operation that leaves freed memory accessible while the file is processed. Opening the file is required, and successful exploitation runs arbitrary code in the current user's context.

Exploitability
Present is not the same as exploitable
Compare your product and version with the public record. A matching version still requires validation against your environment.
