CVE-2025-6179Public exploit

Extension disablement via iframe print flooding

Published Jun 16, 2025 · Updated Jun 17, 2025

Permissions bypass in Google ChromeOS 16181.27.0 allows local users to disable managed extensions on managed Chrome devices. ExtPrint3r floods a web-accessible extension resource with iframes and invokes printing, hanging the embedded extension page rather than the host page. A managed Chrome device and local session are required; the bypass also exposes extension-page Developer Mode, permitting additional extensions to be loaded.
