CVE-2025-61789Network attack vector

Restricted-variable disclosure via unchecked filter columns

Published Oct 16, 2025 · Updated Oct 16, 2025

Response discrepancy in Icinga DB Web before 1.1.4 and 1.2.0 through 1.2.2 allows remote authenticated users to infer custom-variable values. Model filters reached database queries without Auth::assertColumnRestrictions rejecting host.vars or service.vars columns named by denylist and protection rules. Exploitation requires an authenticated account and repeated filter queries; it reveals whether guessed values match but does not write data or interrupt service.
