Phishing via unvalidated SAML RelayState redirect
Published Jan 7, 2026 · Updated Jan 7, 2026
Open redirect in Filigran OpenCTI before 6.8.3 allows remote attackers to send users to external sites through a crafted SAML RelayState. The /auth/saml/callback handler passes the user-controlled RelayState URL directly to res.redirect without validating that it shares the configured base origin. Exploitation requires a SAML-enabled deployment and user interaction with a crafted trusted-domain link; the redirect supports phishing and credential theft but does not alter OpenCTI data or interrupt service.

Exploitability
Present is not the same as exploitable
Compare your product and version with the public record. A matching version still requires validation against your environment.
