CVE-2025-61781Network attack vector

Authenticated workspace deletion via unchecked resource ownership

Published Jan 5, 2026 · Updated Jan 5, 2026

Improper authorization in OpenCTI before 6.8.1 allows remote authenticated users to delete another user's workspace content. WorkspacePopoverDeletionMutation accepts an active UUID and deletes dashboards or investigation cases without verifying that the requester owns the targeted resource. Any authenticated user who obtains another user's active UUID can irreversibly remove that user's workspace data and disrupt investigations.
