CVE-2025-61777Public exploitNetwork attack vector

Unauthenticated badge disclosure and creation via admin API

Published Oct 6, 2025 · Updated Oct 6, 2025

Missing access control in FlagForgeCTF flagForge 2.0.0 through 2.3.1 allows remote attackers to read and create badge templates. The GET route queries every BadgeTemplate document and the POST route creates one from request fields without first checking a session or administrator role. No account or user interaction is required; exposed metadata can be read and attacker-chosen templates can be inserted into the database.
