CVE-2025-61776Network attack vector

Credential disclosure via authenticated NuGet fallback

Published Oct 7, 2025 · Updated Oct 7, 2025

Credential disclosure in OWASP Dependency-Track before 4.13.5 allows attackers to trigger exposure of private NuGet credentials. The NuGet analyzer retains configured authentication when a custom repository omits PackageBaseAddress and falls back to api.nuget.org. Exposure requires .NET components and an authenticated custom repository lacking that resource; credentials and internal component metadata cross the private repository boundary.
