Dependency confusion in PyVista 0.46.3 allows remote attackers to execute code when a project build installs a rogue vtk-osmesa package. The slim Dockerfile and offscreen dev-container script pass wheels.vtk.org through pip's --extra-index-url, allowing a higher-version PyPI package to win resolution. Exploitation requires publication of that package and execution of one of those setup paths, which runs its code in the development or container-build environment.
