CVE-2025-61763Network attack vector

Authenticated read and write access to critical data

Published Oct 21, 2025 · Updated Oct 21, 2025

Improper access control in Oracle Essbase 21.7.3.0.0 allows remote authenticated users to read, create, delete, or modify data via HTTP. Oracle identifies the affected locus only as the Essbase Web Platform and has not disclosed the request, endpoint, or access-control operation that mishandles authorization. Low-privileged Essbase credentials and network access to the HTTP service are required; successful exploitation exposes all Essbase-accessible data to reading or alteration without interrupting service.
