Information disclosure in Oracle VM VirtualBox 7.1.12 and 7.2.2 allows local users to read hypervisor-accessible data from a guest. The Virtio-net device accesses memory without properly initializing it first, exposing stale contents across the guest-hypervisor boundary. Exploitation requires low-privileged code execution in a guest configured with Virtio-net; the flaw discloses data and can support a separate hypervisor compromise chain.
