Configuration modification or service interruption via spoofed packets

Origin validation failure in Johnson Controls IQ Panels and PowerG devices allows adjacent attackers to alter configuration or interrupt service. The packet authentication path accepts messages without verifying their source, causing spoofed packets to be treated as trusted device traffic. Radio proximity is required, but no privileges or user interaction are needed; successful attacks can change device settings or cause a denial of service.
