Browser script execution via unescaped stylesheet parameter
Published Jul 23, 2025 · Updated Jul 23, 2025
Reflected XSS in Dan Kirshner Qwizcards 3.9.4 and earlier allows remote attackers to execute scripts in a user's browser via a crafted URL. The qwiz_admin_sample_buttons.php endpoint inserts the theme_stylesheet query value into its HTML response without sanitization or output escaping. Execution requires a user to open the crafted link; the injected script then runs with that user's access to the affected site's origin.
