Router crash via oversized submit-url value
Published Jun 17, 2025 · Updated Jun 17, 2025
Buffer overflow in the HTTP POST handler of TOTOLINK A3002R 4.0.0-B20230531.1404 allows remote authenticated users to crash the router. The /boafrm/formMultiAP route accepts an oversized submit-url value in a form-encoded POST request, and processing that value overruns a memory buffer. The published request includes a sessionCheck token, and the demonstrated consequence is denial of service rather than code execution.
