CVE-2025-61634Network attack vector

Limited information disclosure via path traversal

Published Feb 2, 2026 · Updated Feb 2, 2026

Path traversal in MediaWiki before 1.39.14, 1.43.4, and 1.44.1 allows remote attackers to disclose limited data via the HTML REST endpoint. The public record names includes/Rest/Handler/PageHTMLHandler.php but does not disclose the wrong pathname operation or the PoolCounter and parser-cache failure. Exploitation requires active user interaction and additional attack conditions; no integrity or availability impact is reported.
