Remote system crash via invalid modem input
Published Dec 1, 2025 · Updated Dec 1, 2025
Improper input validation in UNISOC NR modems on Android 13 through 16 allows remote attackers to crash affected systems. The NR modem accepts network input without adequate validation, but UNISOC has not disclosed the input format, parser, or failing operation. No privileges or user interaction are required; successful exploitation interrupts service by crashing the system, without reported data exposure or modification.
