Unauthenticated database access via unsanitized search_box
Published Jun 17, 2025 · Updated Jun 17, 2025
SQL injection in Code Projects Hostel Management System 1.0 allows remote attackers to access or alter database data via search_box. allocate_room.php passes the POST search_box value directly into SQL queries without sanitization, validation, or parameter binding. No login is required; crafted boolean-, error-, time-, or UNION-based input can read or modify data and interrupt the database-backed service.
