Forum data read and write via SQL injection
Published Oct 16, 2025 · Updated Oct 16, 2025
SQL injection in Ultimate PHP Board 2.2.7 allows remote attackers to read or alter forum data through the lost-password username field. The password-recovery handler concatenates the submitted username into a text-database query predicate without escaping or parameter binding. No authentication or user interaction is required; successful exploitation can expose or alter forum records but is not reported to interrupt service.
