CVE-2025-61480

Denial of service via unvalidated TCP FIN packets

Published Aug 26, 2026 · Updated Aug 27, 2026

Denial of service in Vanderbilt and Acre Security SPC5300.000 Main Board 3.14.1 allows physically proximate attackers to interrupt TCP sessions. The board's TCP FIN processing accepts spoofed packets without validating their sequence or acknowledgment numbers and tears down the targeted connection. Physical proximity to the device network is required; exploitation interrupts active communications without reported data disclosure or modification.
