Database disclosure via polluted table identifier
Published Oct 23, 2025 · Updated Oct 23, 2025
Second-order SQL injection in Gnuboard4 4.36.04 and earlier allows remote attackers to read database data through a crafted search request. The bbs/search.php handler concatenates a request-polluted search_table array element as an unquoted, unvalidated table identifier in a FROM clause. Unauthenticated network access to the search endpoint is sufficient to disclose sensitive rows through error-based or blind queries and bypass intended filters.
