Authenticated memory corruption via oversized ssid5g value
Published Jun 16, 2025 · Updated Jun 17, 2025
Buffer overflow in TOTOLINK T10 4.1.8cu.5207 allows remote authenticated users to corrupt memory through a crafted HTTP POST request. The setWizardCfg handler in /cgi-bin/cstecgi.cgi copies an oversized ssid5g request-body value without enforcing the destination buffer's bounds. Low-privileged management access is required, and the published record does not establish whether the memory corruption yields a crash or code execution.
