CVE-2025-61318Public exploitNetwork attack vector

Arbitrary file deletion via unchecked traversal paths

Published Dec 8, 2025 · Updated Dec 8, 2025

Path traversal in Emlog Pro 2.5.20 allows remote attackers to delete arbitrary files through template or plugin deletion requests. The tpl parameter in admin/template.php and plugin parameter in admin/plugin.php accept ../ sequences without path verification or dangerous-input filtering, so deletion escapes the intended content directories. The published proof of concept supplies a token to each backend endpoint and demonstrates deletion outside the application tree; the CVE assessment nonetheless records no required privileges.
