CVE-2025-61303Public exploitNetwork attack vector

Analysis evasion via recursive process spawning

Published Oct 20, 2025 · Updated Oct 20, 2025

Resource exhaustion in Recorded Future Triage's Windows engine allows remote attackers to evade analysis through submitted samples. The behavioral analysis engine does not bound process-tracking and logging work when a sample recursively spawns thousands of child processes, saturating telemetry collection. Submitting such a sample is sufficient to omit PowerShell and reverse-shell activity from the resulting report, causing a denial of analysis.
