File placement outside upload root via incomplete filtering
Published Oct 1, 2025 · Updated Oct 1, 2025
Path traversal in JeecgBoot 3.8.2 and earlier allows remote attackers to write whitelisted file types under /opt via a crafted biz value. The upload handlers for /sys/comment/addFile and /sys/upload/uploadMinio reject ../ and ..\ sequences but accept a bare .., then append a separator and filename, causing the resolved path to escape /opt/upFiles. Network access reaches the upload path without authentication; code execution additionally requires an administrator to extract or use the uploaded content.
