File placement outside upload directory via bare-dot traversal
Published Oct 1, 2025 · Updated Oct 1, 2025
Path traversal in JeecgBoot 3.8.2 and earlier allows remote attackers to place allowlisted files under /opt through the upload endpoint. The /jeecg-boot/sys/common/upload handler rejects ../ and ..\ in bizPath but accepts bare .., then appends a separator and filename, escaping /opt/upFiles. Unauthenticated network access is sufficient to plant a file; execution requires an administrator to extract or invoke attacker-controlled content.
