Authenticated code execution via server-unvalidated file upload
Published Aug 26, 2026 · Updated Aug 27, 2026
Unrestricted file upload in Cohere North AI 1.1.5 allows remote authenticated users to execute arbitrary code through a crafted file. The /api/internal/v1/my_drive/batch_upload endpoint accepts tampered uploads because it relies on client-side extension checks and performs no server-side type, MIME, or content validation. A valid portal session and request tampering are required; execution depends on the processing environment handling the dangerous upload.
