Disputed authentication bypass in python-jose 3.3.0 and earlier allows remote attackers to accept forged JWT claims when verification is disabled. The cited proof of concept calls jwt.decode with options setting verify_signature to false, which intentionally skips cryptographic validation. The behavior requires an application to disable signature verification; the CVE record therefore marks the report disputed, and no bypass is shown with verification enabled.
