Path traversal in Spring-Boot-In-Action 807fd37643aa774b94fd004cc3adbd29ca17e9aa allows remote authenticated users to write arbitrary files. The watermarkTest upload flow incorporates the supplied filename into a destination path without normalizing or restricting traversal segments. Low-privileged access to the upload endpoint is sufficient to place attacker-chosen content at a filesystem path writable by the service.
