Forced logout via tokenless GET request
Published Jun 16, 2025 · Updated Jun 16, 2025
Cross-site request forgery in jflyfox JFinal CMS 5.0.1 allows remote attackers to force authenticated users to log out. The HOME.java logout handler accepts a GET request without an anti-CSRF token or referrer verification, so an attacker-controlled avatar URL triggers the action. Exploitation requires an authenticated user to view content containing the crafted avatar and is limited to terminating that user's session.
