Unauthenticated command execution via unsanitized MAC parameter
Published Oct 1, 2025 · Updated Oct 21, 2025
OS command injection in TOTOLINK X18 firmware 9.1.0cu.2053_B20230309 allows remote attackers to execute arbitrary commands. The setEasyMeshAgentCfg handler passes the mac value to Uci_Add_List in /usr/lib/libcscommon.so without neutralizing shell metacharacters, allowing backtick-delimited commands to execute. No credentials or user interaction are required, but access to the router management interface is necessary; successful exploitation runs commands on the device.
