Database crash via crafted SQL execution
Published Jun 23, 2026 · Updated Jun 23, 2026
Denial of service in sslr_qst_get in OpenLink Virtuoso Open Source 7.2.11 allows remote attackers to crash the database via crafted SQL. The upstream reproduction executes a fuzzer-generated table constraint and INSERT, then records sslr_qst_get at the top of the crash backtrace; the defective internal operation is not disclosed. Network access to the SQL interface is the gate, and the documented consequence is database-process termination without reported data disclosure or modification.
