SQL compiler denial of service in OpenLink Virtuoso Open Source 7.2.11 allows remote attackers to crash the server via crafted SQL. The sqlo_try_in_loop optimizer path crashes while compiling a crafted UPDATE against a view containing nested subqueries, CASE expressions, and an IN loop. CISA assesses no privileges or user interaction are required; the demonstrated effect is a database-server crash, not data access or modification.
