CVE-2025-6093

Code execution via unchecked I2C write length

Published Jun 15, 2025 · Updated Jun 16, 2025

Stack overflow in uYanki board-stm32f103rc-berial commit 84daed541609cb7b46854cc6672a275d1007e295 allows attackers to execute code via I2C input. The heartrate1_i2c_hal_write function copies num + 1 bytes from buff with memcpy into a fixed MAX_READ_SIZE stack buffer without checking the requested length. Exploitation requires control of both num and buff in the embedded MAX30100 example and can overwrite adjacent stack data, crash the firmware, or redirect execution.
