Stored script execution via unsanitized SVG upload
Published Oct 10, 2025 · Updated Oct 17, 2025
Stored XSS in Bagisto 2.3.6 allows remote authenticated users to execute JavaScript in a victim's browser through a crafted SVG upload. The product-creation upload path stores an SVG containing a script after its Content-Type is changed; opening the file URL executes the retained element under the Bagisto origin. Administrative access is required to plant the file, and another user must open its URL; the script can read session-accessible data or issue unauthorized actions as that user.
