Privilege escalation via modifiable SYSTEM service

Improper access control in Avanquest PC HelpSoft Driver Updater 9.1.57803.1174 allows local users to gain SYSTEM privileges. The SYSTEM-level Driver Updater Service grants standard users permission to change its binary path and start the service. A standard Windows account can set the path to an attacker-controlled executable, run it as SYSTEM, and add itself to local Administrators.
