Unauthenticated code execution via hardcoded Shiro key
Published Oct 8, 2025 · Updated Oct 8, 2025
Deserialization in redragon-erp 1.0 allows remote attackers to execute code through a forged Apache Shiro persistent-identity cookie. The Spring Boot deployment hardcodes the Shiro cipher key, allowing attacker-generated encrypted cookie bytes to pass decryption and reach the framework's object deserializer. No authentication or user interaction is required, but the vulnerable behavior is reported only when the application runs in Spring Boot mode.
