Unauthenticated RCE via semicolon path bypass
Published Oct 24, 2025 · Updated Oct 24, 2025
Authentication bypass in jshERP at commit fbda24da allows remote attackers to execute arbitrary code through crafted HTTP requests. The request filter permits semicolon matrix parameters that servlet routing discards, resolving traversal paths into protected user-management endpoints. Attackers can create a default-password admin identity, satisfy a plugin check that trusts only the admin login name, and upload a plugin JAR for server-side execution.
