Unauthenticated user-record disclosure via whitelist path traversal
Published Oct 28, 2025 · Updated Oct 28, 2025
Incorrect access control in jshERP through commit 90c411a allows remote attackers to read user records through a crafted GET request. The request starts with the unauthenticated Swagger UI CSS whitelist path, then uses uppercase percent-encoded dot segments to traverse to /jshERP-boot/user/info, bypassing a case-sensitive traversal filter and token check. No credentials or user interaction are required; enumerating user IDs exposes account data, including password hashes that the report demonstrates can authenticate as the affected user.
