Authenticated arbitrary file upload via missing type validation
Published Aug 16, 2025 · Updated Apr 8, 2026
Arbitrary file upload in Dasinfomedia School Management System for WordPress 93.2.0 and earlier allows remote authenticated users to upload files. The homework.php upload path accepts submitted files without validating their types, allowing dangerous server-executable content to be stored. Student-level access is sufficient, and executing an uploaded PHP file grants control in the web server context.
