Authenticated code execution via unsanitized archive paths
Published Dec 15, 2025 · Updated Dec 15, 2025
Path traversal in iceScrum 7.54 Pro On-prem allows remote authenticated users to execute arbitrary code via a crafted ZIP upload. The project-import extractor accepts ../ sequences in archive entry names and writes those entries outside its intended directory. A low-privilege account, including a self-registered account under the default configuration, can reach the import feature and write server files, enabling code execution.
