Stack buffer overflow in GeographicLib 2.5.1 and earlier allows context-dependent attackers to crash applications via crafted DMS input. DMS::InternalDecode advances npiece after a fourth DMS component and writes through that index into the three-element ipieces and fpieces stack arrays. Reachability requires an application to pass attacker-controlled coordinate strings to the parser; the published CISA assessment reports availability impact only.
