Unauthenticated command execution via unsanitized ping parameter
Published Nov 13, 2025 · Updated Nov 14, 2025
Command injection in TOTOLINK A950RG Router firmware 5.9c.4592_B20191022_ALL allows remote attackers to execute arbitrary commands. The setDiagnosisCfg function reads the ipDoamin form value with websGetVar, inserts it into a ping command with sprintf, and passes the result to CsteSystem without sanitization. A crafted unauthenticated HTTP request to the router's web interface is sufficient to run attacker-chosen commands on the device.
