Unauthorized user creation via unrestricted GET handlers
Published Nov 12, 2025 · Updated Nov 12, 2025
Cross-site request forgery in xxl-api 1.3.0 and earlier allows remote attackers to add management users through crafted GET requests. Management controllers use @RequestMapping without restricting the HTTP method, permitting state-changing operations to execute as GET requests. Exploitation requires an authenticated management user to open an attacker-supplied link in the same browser; a successful request creates an unauthorized account.
