Authenticated script execution via undisclosed input handling
Published Jul 29, 2025 · Updated Jun 5, 2026
Cross-site scripting in DECE Software GEODI before Setup 9.0.146 allows remote authenticated users to execute script in another user's browser. The CNA and vendor-facing advisory do not identify the affected page, parameter, or encoding failure that lets attacker-controlled input enter generated HTML. Exploitation requires low-privileged access and a victim to interact with the crafted content; the reported consequence is limited to browser-context data access and modification, with no service interruption.
