Unauthenticated code execution via unchecked file upload
Published Jul 12, 2025 · Updated Apr 8, 2026
Arbitrary file upload in Iqonic Design WPBookit 1.0.4 and earlier allows remote attackers to place files on WordPress servers. The unauthenticated add_booking_type route invokes image_upload_handle(), which stores submitted image_file content without validating its type. No account or user interaction is required; an executable PHP upload in a web-accessible directory enables code execution as the web server account.
