Unauthenticated service interruption via unchecked sprintf
Published Oct 24, 2025 · Updated Oct 24, 2025
Stack-based buffer overflow in D-Link DIR600L Ax firmware 1.16WWb01 allows remote attackers to interrupt router service via next_page. Within formDeviceReboot, sprintf copies curTime into the fixed-size v4 buffer without checking the input length. No authentication or user interaction is required; oversized input corrupts the stack and interrupts availability, with no documented data disclosure or modification.
