CVE-2025-60540Public exploitNetwork attack vector

Internal resource access via incomplete hostname filtering

Published Oct 14, 2025 · Updated Oct 14, 2025

Server-side request forgery in Karakeep 0.26.0 through 0.7.0 allows attackers to make the crawler request internal resources. The crawlerWorker.ts validateUrl function permits HTTP and HTTPS URLs but rejects only localhost, 127.0.0.1, and 0.0.0.0, leaving internal hostnames and private-network addresses reachable. The published proof of concept requires login, while CISA rates privileges as none; exploitation reaches services hidden from the requester.
