Unsafe deserialization in Modular Max Serve before 25.6.0 allows remote attackers to execute arbitrary code through its KV-cache agent. The agent accepts unauthenticated ZeroMQ TCP messages and passes attacker-controlled payloads to Python pickle deserialization, which can invoke code during object reconstruction. Exposure requires the experimental --experimental-enable-kvcache-agent feature; successful exploitation executes code in the server process and can compromise its data and availability.
