Stored XSS via unsanitized SVG uploads
Published Oct 3, 2025 · Updated Oct 3, 2025
Stored XSS in Emlog Pro 2.5.19 allows remote authenticated users to execute JavaScript in a victim's browser through an SVG upload. /admin/media.php accepts SVG files without sanitizing executable elements or attributes and serves them under a script-capable MIME type. Administrative access is required to plant the payload; execution occurs when another user views the uploaded file, exposing that user's session context.
