CVE-2025-60425Network attack vector

Persistent account access via unrevoked pre-2FA sessions

Published Oct 27, 2025 · Updated Oct 27, 2025

Authentication bypass in Nagios Fusion 2024R1.2 and 2024R2 allows remote attackers to retain account access with stale session tokens. When 2FA is enabled for an account, the session service updates the account's authentication state without revoking or re-challenging sessions created beforehand. An attacker must already possess a still-active session token; that token continues to authorize account actions without the newly enabled second factor.
